The Virginia Black Lifestyle Magazine (VBLM) will recognize 10 outstanding Black Virginians who are over the age of 40! Â If you or someone you know is making an indelible impact on our communities, please submit a nomination to be recognized by VBLM in a feature article, our social media outlets and at our upcoming networking event in Central Virginia!
Eligibility:
1. Â Self-nominations are accepted.
2. Â Nominees must identify as Black.
3. Must be residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia
4. Must be aged 40 or over as of February 1, 2025.
*Selected Honorees must be present for our "Top 10 Over 40" Networking event on March 9th!
Rules & Regulations:
1. Â Information submitted will not be sold to any entity.
2. Â Should a nominee be selected, the nominator and nominee agree to allow VBLM to share information submitted for the purpose of recognizing our "10 Over 40." This includes applying graphics to images submitted for social media posts recognizing nominees.
3. Â By nominating a phenomenal Black Virginian for the VBLM "Top 10 Over 40," nominees understand that every nomination will not be selected at this time.
Deadline: The deadline to submit a nomination is February 8th, 2025.
